Download the firmware file. Rename it exactly as required by Xerox (often xerox_b1025_firmware.dlm – check the readme). Place it in the root directory (not inside any folder). Select the file
Click Check for Updates Online (if the printer has internet access) OR Upload Firmware File (if you downloaded the .dlm or .prn file from Xerox manually).
Format a USB thumb drive to FAT32 (not NTFS or exFAT). The drive should be 16GB or smaller for best compatibility.
Connect your PC to the B1025 via USB Type-B cable (the square-shaped port on the back). Ensure the printer is recognized by Windows (check Devices & Printers).
