We had the opportunity to sit down with Marie Lu and discuss her writing process, the Legend series, and what's next for her.
Marie Lu is a Chinese-American author born in 1984 in California. She grew up in a traditional Chinese household, where she was encouraged to pursue her passion for writing from a young age. Lu began writing her first novel, Legend, in 2009, and it was published in 2011. The book was an instant success, and the series went on to become a global phenomenon.
The Legend series has a huge following worldwide. What do you think it is about the series that resonates with readers?
